This week we are making a bit of a departure from a “word,” strictly speaking. Instead, we are taking a look at the acronym “HSIA.” For those of you unfamiliar with the term, it stands for High Speed Internet Access.

In our guest rooms and business meeting room we bring you both wireless and wired capabilities to accommodate any Internet browsing device. Then in our public areas we are happy to bring you even more wireless Internet coverage.
Internet Access (the thing you are a part of right now!) is the means by which individual terminals, computers, mobile devices, and local area networks are connected to the global Internet. High Speed Internet Access is a connection term that we use that means your information can be downloaded and uploaded at broadband speeds.
